If you are not aware, DOM-x Player is a one of the many Rogue Malware programs, which are infecting more and more PCs nowadays. The mechanism of DOM-x Player installation is easy. It is generally spread through the various online file sharing sites like Rapidshare and various Torrent sites like BitTorrent. People who want to make a quick buck disguise a rogue file as a movie file. When you download it and try to run it, this gives you a link and asks you to download DOM-x Media Player. If you get into this trap to download and install DOM-x Media Player, then you may be in trouble. |

Wow, they must have taken classes from our Government.
| In the minds of Microsoft execs, the problem lies with the fact that Vista is deployed on such a wide variety of PC builds, from a variety of manufacturers.? A configuration from one brand might yield completely different results then that of another.? For example, you can take the same laptop and pre-configure it one way and you get almost instantaneous boot-times, and fantastic battery life. If you pre-configure it with software in another way you get long boots, and much less battery life.? Microsoft, as part of their restructuring plan, plans to educated its OEM providers on these subjects to try an curb any negative compatibility issues at the source. |

Great way to insure a lil extra security besides the AntiVirus and AntiSpyware thats running on your puter.

If youve never heard of the product, do a lil research first. Visit a review site or use a search engine to check it out.
| This isn’t news, but it’s worth reminding everyone: there is a large category of malicious programs that present themselves as antispyware or antivirus programs. Having already established that they will lie about these things, they may lie about others. For instance, we recently came across one which claims to have won a number of awards, including the PC Magazine Editors’ Choice. |

| Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowing down in overall system performance, particularly in the Flower and Jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NBA 5.0, NASCAR 3.0 and Golf 4.1. |
