I had met her several times in my life, and I was amazed at her look on life. As a TV star, it was quite a life. And being married to Gene Roddenberry, a true match.
She is now with him and I hope they have a wonderful journey.
Thank you for the memories Majel
The First Lady of Star Trek, as she was known, married Roddenberry in Japan in August 1969, after the end of the original Star Trek TV series. She also worked in other TV shows, like Bonanza, The Untouchables, and The Lucy Show, with Lucille Ball. She also was the voice of the USS Enterprise in every single movie and TV episode of Star Trek. |

At this time of the year, we can expect to be bombarded by socially engineered email spam/scam with a Christmas or Holiday Season theme, so be more vigilant than you normally would be. |

This bit of news saddens me. Education about online threats is everywhere in the news today, yet the article says we in the USA are not getting the message.
“Not only is the USA relaying the most spam because too many of its computers have been compromised and are under the control of hackers, but it’s also carrying the most malicious web pages,” it has Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos, saying. |

This article offers a different approach to fighting malware infections.
There is that stigma that users have with a re-install, they are not familiar with how to do it. Many dont even know if they have a restore CD that may have come with their puter when they bought it.
If you ask any experienced and competent IT professional what to do about an infected system, they should only give you one answer: format your hard drive and reinstall your operating system.? Why skip straight to the format/reinstall and disregard the anti-virus and anti-spyware removal tools? |
